I have a specific case where the customer who fills in the “State Registration” field in his registration will not have fees applied when buying between states.
The rates I have registered with percentages according to state records of the federation.

    Any tips?

    Hi there,

It sounds like we might be missing some background information here – are you customising the registration fields to include a state field? I’m asking as the core WooCommerce plugin itself doesn’t have that field during sign-up ??

    Hi @lucasl9

    Thanks for the update.

Since this field you added is a custom field during registration, telling it to apply taxes or not based on how it’s filled out would require further customizations. Did you use a plugin to add this registration field, or did you code this yourself?

I’ll go ahead and leave this thread open for a while in case anyone else wants to chime in on how to tackle this, but in the meantime, I can also recommend the following resources for more development-oriented questions:

If no one is able to assist and you’d like to hire someone to help you code this, I can also recommend the following experts: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/

Can you delete this post? Doesnt make sense SOLVED status for a unsolved topic. Thanks!
