Do not apply content filters checkbox by default

    Hello,

    I am using ths plugins for years, thank you very much.

    With the explosion of page builders (I use Elementor), I see that this widget has many problems with them when the checkbox “Do not apply content filters” is not checked. It displays the main page content into every “content block” widget when not checked.

    I wonder if this “Do not apply content filters” checkbox should be checkbed by default. It seems there are few cases where the filters could be useful.

    Hi Nico,

    Unfortunately enabling the checkbox by default will cause lots of other issues such as paragraph tags being stripped out of the content.

    I understand the issue though, and I shall see if there is another way to work around this. It might be that some pagebuilders have clever mechanisms to use the content blocks without needing to add the standard widget or shortcode. I don’t use pagebuilders myself so I first have to find out more about how they work.

    Thanks for your explaination.
    I will try to get an opinion of the pagebuilders devs about this problem.
    Not sure if where this should be resolved. Maybe it’s more on their side.
