    Hey guys,

SiteGround recommends to move to manual cron jobs every half hour, which I’ve done some time ago.

I’m wondering if the manual cron jobs are stopping the plugin from scanning the website, because after a whole day it only scanned 70 links -and I’ve got tens of thousands-.

    Hello @lucio7 ,

Manual cron jobs shouldn’t do that. Can you share what are your settings for options “Check each link” and “Link monitor”?

    kind regards,
    Kasia

    Hello Kasia,

    Thank you for following up.

I pressed the “nuclear option” and let it go for a few days before updating here.

It went slow, but slow wasn’t an issue.
The issue is that it stopped parsing.

I’d expected thousands of broken links

And both options “Run continuously while the Dashboard is open” and “Run hourly in the background” are checked.

    Hi @lucio7

    Sorry for the delay here.

You can try to install the WP cron plugin and keep your eyes on cronjobs to make sure it is not resetting every hour, but it shouldn’t as the cron will call the queue only.

Let us know the result you got.

    Hi Patrick,

    Thank you for the follow-up.

Interestingly enough, it is going forward.

It just adds few links in the queue at a time, so it goes very slowly.

But so far I’m not in a rush, so I will keep waiting and see if it parses the whole website eventually.

You haven’t heard because my previous message hasn’t been approved.

But the plugin is still not scanning and finding internal broken links.
