Do image ID's stay the same when you move the uploads folder to a new directory?

I hope someone can help me. This may be a silly question, but I just want to make sure I don’t mess anything up. My question is: Do image ID’s stay the same when you move the uploads folder to a new directory?

Let me give an example to explain the question better…

I am redesigning a site, but I ONLY want to move the blog posts and images associated with it. I plan on just FTP’ing the uploads folders exactly as they are to the new site. The blog posts will also stay exactly the same. The blog posts have a ton of images like so:

As you can see, this image has the ID of 4412. If I move the uploaded folders to the new site, will the image ID’s stay in tact?
