Do I use custom fields or what ?

    I would need some advise regarding my future site’s setup.
    It will “replicate” (euphemimo for “copy-paste”) all news regarding a football (english, not american) team in particular.
    As nearly all of the newsites who cover this team do not provide RSS links, no autoblogging tools can be used, so everything must be done the hard way, “press this” marklet is of great use.

    I will replicate news from websites and twits from journalists
    Because of this, I need to manage more info than the “author” field, such as “Media” (website, twitter), “Source” (name of website) and “author” (journalist if present)
    Using WPMU and setting one blog for each source is an overkill

    Was thinking in using custom fields, but would need to have the possibility to list them by media, source of author, as I can do using tags or categories.

    Is there any other workaround for this ?

  • Yeah, there’s no way I’d do that in multsite. Who would???

    Why not just tag the posts with these?
