I truelly understand that “Hummingbird” might have few minor options that is not presented in “LiteSpeed Cach”. But globally, is there any “must have” feature that “LiteSpeed Cach” is missing and that it worth it to install, setup, maintain and troubleshoot two cache plugins?

    I’ll appreciate any suggestion. Thx!

    Hi @maxdarklighter

    I hope you’re well today!

I’m not that much familiar with LiteSpeed Cache plugin but for sure none of the options enabled in both these plugins (if they are both on site) should “overlap”. In other words, if e.g. one of them is doing “CSS optimization”, the other shouldn’t do it.

Hummingbird provides way more detailed/granular control over that aspect, as far as I’ve seen in LiteSpeed but in general – there are no two identical sites and cases. It’s always best to just test and compare on your own on this specific site it’s about to be used on and make a choice based on that.

I believe in Hummingbird, and while it might sound like a bit “biased” opinion, I am also using it personally on my hobby site even though I’m not required to and I could make a different choice. I’m just happy with how it performs for me.

As mentioned, I’m not that much familiar with LiteSpeed to make “feature comparison” but if you have any particular features in mind, please ask and I’ll be more than happy to check and test it for you.

    Best regards,
    Adam

If your site is hosted on a server stack which uses LiteSpeed then the LiteSpeed Cache plugin is going to be the best option for caching for your site.
