• When I installed the PageSpeed Ninja plug-in, I disconnected WP Cache. Do I still need an additional cache plug-in with the PageSpeed Ninja?

Yes, PSN has it own page cache that is integrated with other PSN features.

To enable PSN’s page cache, deactivate other caching plugin and then enable “Caching” option in the “Reduce server response time” section of the Advanced tab in the PSN’s settings page.

PS. Note that currently PSN has page-level cache only. You can use other plugins for objects and translations caches.

Thank you so much, Denis. What confuses me if that my mobile speed rating was 38 and is now 29 after I added the plug-in. My desktop speed was 81 and is still 81. The pages do seem to open faster. I am particularly concerned about the lower mobile rating.

    1. Do you have related warnings in the error_log file on the server (ones that mention psn-pagespeed-ninja path or Ressio classes)?
    2. Could you check that “Leverage browser caching/Load external stylesheets” and “Leverage browser caching/Load external scripts” options are enabled?
