[NSFW] DO I really set an Event Series to a non-recurring event?

    Please refer to “Adult Fishing Class October 16” for reference.

    As you can see, the event will go directly to Page error 404. This happens when I don’t add the event series to the event creation. To fix the page error 404 I added an Event Series and set it to ‘once’. However, I find it weird since the event is non-recurring why do I need to add in the Event Series and set it to recurring(though it is set to once)? Still, it’s odd.

    Please help me.

    Hi @nwsjane, I suspect that this is related to the known issue that we’re fixing in regards to the recurring events returns 404 → https://theeventscalendar.com/known-issues/#dl_ECP-1398. For now please set the event to “once”, as a workaround.

    We already created an internal bug ticket for this, and I have added your case to it. Thanks for all the details, I will definitely pass it along to our devs.

    I am unable to provide an exact date or time estimate for when this bug will be fixed, but you’ll be notified when there are any updates.

    Update: The issue was fixed on our latest releases!

    You can update your Events Calendar free and PRO plugins and that issue will be gone ??
