DO i really need to use WP Minify ?

  • Hello i am using WP super cache plugin for now (with minify plugin also) and having some trouble with super cache, and its not caching anything,
    Now i decided to move to W3 Total cache, as i see W3 total cache already have some minify features, so do i really need to use standalone WP minify plugin with W3 total cache ? or i should use W3 cache’s inbuilt features ?

  • WP minify uses very conservative (and therefore less performant default options), so no you don’t need to use it, but it’s “easier” for most people because it does far less than what’s ideal compared to a fully dialed-in configuration.
