Do I need trackback_rdf & comments_template in my idex?

  • Hi there,

    I have just been comparing my template with the default template of WP 1.5.1 and noticed that the default does not use either of these tags. Are they no longer needed as I have them in my template.

    ‘<?php trackback_rdf(); ?>’
    ‘<?php comments_template(); ?>’

    oh and also this….

    ‘<?php link_pages(‘
    Pages: ‘, ‘
    ‘, ‘number’); ?>’

    Thanks for any advice ??

  • Looking through the change logs for the default theme it looks like the <?php trackback_rdf(); ?> is no longer needed [1].

    As for the others I’m not sure.
