Do I need to Install WordPress

  • I will be a remote poster for a blog. The server host has WordPress installed. I will be posting from my PC at home, via a website with a logon user/password. Does WordPress have to also be installed on my PC for this to work?

    Yes. I am the new employee of a blog owner. I will be posting from home to his blog. He has his own domain and the server has WordPress. I was just trying to figure out my logon issues and wanted to make sure it wasn’t because I didn’t have WordPress installed on my PC. Thanks for the reply!

    ha! No, he’s asked me to be head writer. Actually, I have my own blog and that’s how he found me. Made me an offer. Kind of cool, actually.
