I was using the standard “buy now” Paypal generated buttons that you create on paypal to offer cosmetology courses with decent results. I had a drop down to choose the date of the course to take, a text field for the students name and the add to cart button. Going back and forth from paypal to the site to add course dates to the shopping cart was a bit too clunky. Your plugin really solves that problem in a very nice and simple way by letting users add items to the shopping cart on site before going to the Paypal checkout. But by using this plugin I lost the ability to add user input text field to the item. What I’d really like is the same functionality I had with the Paypal generated buttons (a dropdown menu and a text field) but with the shopping cart function. Is it possible to take the paypal generated button code and integrate it with this plugin? Or do I need the Pro version you sell on your site. The full ecommerce option seems like overkill for just this one little item I’d like to add.

Hi, unfortunately that feature is not currently available in the plugin. The eStore plugin does have that option.

Hi, We have no way to take PayPal generated button code. I don’t know of any cart plugin that uses PayPal generated button code.

We do have features in our WP eStore plugin that will allow you to do what you want but it won’t take PayPal generated button code. You tell the plugin what dropdown options for a product you want and the plugin will create it accordingly.
