I wonder if I need to enable tracking under tracking settings so that plugins put tracking code if I already put Google tracking code via option in theme I am using?

  • If you already have the code inserted it’s not necessary.

Please note that the plugin has lots of other tracking capabilities like tracking events, custom dimensions, and so on, which most probably are not available on your theme’s tracking feature. That’s why I always recommend using the plugin’s tracking component and disable the others.

Thank you for your response. My theme allows putting code as provided from Google analytics so don’t need that part.
