Do I need this with Memberpress?

    Hi, I started with this great plugin, then after more development we needed Memberpress. So I bought and installed that as well. But now I am wondering if I need the Members plugin as well? I really try and avoid plugin bloat.

    All I used the Member plugin for was to create user roles. Maybe other things, but i cant remember. Does memberpress do everything and more the Members does?

    Members plugin is for creating roles and managing capabilities. Data are stored in the database, so when you have everything set up as you wish, you can uninstall the plugin. It has a different purpose than Memberpress as it does not have membership functionality and payments.
