Do I need logs

My database is really bloating, even when I set an expiration period of 1 day for my logs. Most of the stuff being logged points to Javascript files (e.g., query.min.js all over the place). Do I really need to track all that? If not, how do I disable tracking? Should I just track 404 re-directs?
