Do i need domain mapping plugin

    Now i am alittle confused, since my converted install to multisite was in a subfolder the install defaulted to a subfolder type of multisite, which is no problem.

    But i just got done with the install and logged back in, and now i dont know if i am done or if i need the domain mapping plugin or not.

    Is the domain mapping plugin for both types of multisite networks or just the sub domain type.

    PS for some reason my other post that i did just a few hours ago was closed and never answered, i tried to reply on that one but it said closed when i submitted the post. Is this a bug or what?

    It appears i dont need the map plugin, i just did a redirect in the old folder to the new folder on the same domain.
