I am using Site Kit by Google.

I am using Windows 11, Google Chrome Browser, Dell Inspiron 16 laptop.

WordPress Support is indicating that I may not need one or more of the plugins below as they may be slowing down my performance.

Do any of these plugins conflict or are redundant, etc.

May I deactivate any of them?

    Ad Inserter

    Ads.txt Manager

    Advanced Ads

    Simple Google AdSense

    Thank you

Hi @devin104 thanks for reaching out and for your question. While we can’t comment specifically on what plugins you should have active on your site, I can say that we are not aware of any conflicts for any of these plugins with Site Kit.

That’s not to say that there isn’t any but the choice of using these is yours. I will say that Site Kit allows you to connect both AdSense and Google Ads so if you are placing AdSense or Ads code with another plugin or manually then we’d recommend selecting that Site Kit doesn’t place the code for these modules. Otherwise you can use Site Kit to do this instead of using other third party plugins.

I hope this has answered your question but let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

Perhaps you could tell me if Site Kit includes my google adsense code on my WordPress site.

    Thank you

Good question @devin104. Site Kit does by default placed the AdSense code on a users site when you connect the AdSense module within the plugin. This can be changed at any time, within the plugin settings. You’ll find out more on how Site Kit works with AdSense by visiting the following guide on the Site Kit website:
    https://sitekit.withgoogle.com/documentation/using-site-kit/managing-adsense/

Do let us know if you have any further questions on this and we’d be happy to assist. Thank you!

    My site is: https://carljungdepthpsychologysite.blog/

On Site Kit I am getting the following message:

    Error connecting Site Kit

Looks like your site is not allowed access to Google account data and can’t display stats in the dashboard.

    Redo the Plugin Setup

But when I click on the Plugin Setup, a message appears saying:

    Error: Bad Request

    invalid parameter: ‘site_id’

Would someone please tell me in terms a layperson can understand how to fix this issue?

    Thank you.

Based on this error you’re reporting, can you let me know if you tried performing a plugin reset yet (Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit)? If no, please go ahead and perform a reset and share whether you’re then able to proceed with setup.

Note that by resetting, you will need to connect all previously connected modules once more.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. We also have a guide on the plugin website in relation to this error which contains more details of this, such as situations where this may occur.
