Do I have to update all my posts?

    This may or may not help; but be sure to set the thumbnail default sizes in wp admin > media > small/media/large sizes to match what you were starting with or which are actually used in your current theme.

    Also, you can save your existing thumbnails used in your posts, by download via FTP; then run plugin, then copy back your originals if you wish to retain the links to images found in your posts, but which got deleted by this plugin (this solves broken link problem).
