• Hello, I was careful to checkout your site carefully before investing time into your plugin to be sure I would not have to upgrade and pay for the features I need. I spent entire morning setting up facebook and twitter.

But now trying to setup autoposting to Google+, I am being told to pony up $49/yr for SNAP API Run-Time – a ridiculous amount for just a hobby site I’m building.

Look, please don’t tell me I fell for another bait and switch! I really really tried to do my homework this time.

This page: https://www.nextscripts.com/snap-features/ says nothing about having to upgrade to get google+ autoposting. There’s only one feature listed under the “Pro Only Features” at the very buttom of the page: Scheduled and Delayed posting

Please tell me I’m wrong or do I need to go back to Jetpack?

    We apologize for confusion.

First of all to avoid further confusion there two SNAP Pro features: ability to “post to unlimited number of accounts for each network” and “Scheduled and Delayed posting”.

    About Google+.

To be able to post to some external site or social network plugin must call it’s API. API is a special application program interface that usually provided by the network itself. Plugin comes with built-in support for about 30 different APIs including Google+.

The thing is: unlike Facebook, Twitter and most of the other networks Google+ does not provide it’s own API. Luckily some third party solutions are available. As I said SNAP Free already has a support for it. You don’t need to buy SNAP Pro for that. But you need to get third party API. You can buy it from us, you can buy from someone else, you can write your own, you can hire someone to make it.

    Hello,
    thanks for your response.

You can buy it from us, you can buy from someone else,

And to buy it from you, the price is $49/year. Correct? Impossible to buy it outright. Just have to keep paying $49/yr?
