do i have to add meta tags in every templates header file?

Hello.
I had default template of wordpress and i edited the meta name and tags by going to themes folder and then to default, since i was using default theme.
Now i have changed the theme.and the new theme has also header.php..I want to ask that do i have to change the header file of this template also?
