Do I have to activate the same theme and plugins before I import?

  • I want to export only this page to another site. The other site has another theme activated. Do I have to active the same theme as the exporting site (and the same plugins) do make it look the same on the importing site? Or should I press ‘all’ and it will also import the theme and settings?

    (the problem is the importing site gets messed up with theme change and can’t be down for a long time so I’m afraid to trial and error.)

    Or should I just build it from the beginning on the other site?
