Hi everyone, I’m somewhat new to the WordPress block editor and have a simple question. I had watched a tutorial where the guy was using a block called “container”. I needed this block as well but I could not find a container block. I was using the same theme as he was (Astra) but he was also using the Starter Templates plugin, and had started with one of their templates, so finally I went and imported the same template, and then I suddenly had the container block as well. I didn’t want that template so I removed it again, but I still have the container block and can use it anywhere else. Pardon my ignorance, but do templates bring 3rd party custom blocks with them, or how does this work? Could I have gotten the container block without loading the template?

Any help would be much appreciated!

I did find some more info now and think I maybe have a bit of a better understanding. I wasn’t aware that you can add 3rd party blocks sort of like you can add plugins. Is this what would have been done in this template? I still couldn’t find that particular block in the search results.
