Do bbpress Style Pack blocks in the block editor are supposed to work?

    With all plugins updated to latest version and latest wordpress version i get this error when trying to use the last activity block

    can you say that hey used to work on your site, but have stopped, or is this the first time you are trying them?

    I had not tried to use them before. First time.
    I used bbpress shortcode for now. But style pack blocks cause errors.

    Thanks, and yes i can replicate – on my test site when I add a widget block from my style pack, I get an error ‘This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed.’. If you update and then show the page, the actual block shows, but with default settings.

    I reply on code written in another plugin that I copied to render these, so I’ll ask there and come back

    can you tell me if you have 

    define ( 'SCRIPT_DEBUG', true);

    set in your wp-config file

    If you have no idea what that means, don’t worry, but do come back and say ??

    I do have it enabled and indeed I have no more bug when I put it to false.
    That’s a bit annoying when you dev blocks and plugins yourself :/

    I have used bbpress default shortcodes for now

    thanks – I’m working with another plugin developer to resolve this so that that that setting will work either way, just wanted to confirm you had the same issue as we are seeing.
