    Hi,

This is my first time using shortcake and I’m using shortcode_ui_register_for_shortcode to set up an attachment type field. Everything appears to be working fine and when I choose my shortcode from the “add media” window in a post, “insert post element” and then my shortcode, I’m noticing that the the media library window that appears doesn’t include WordPress’ default size/alignment dropdowns.

Normally you’ll see url, caption, alt etc. in attachment details, then “attachment display settings” with options to align, link to, and the size. I just want to confirm if shortcake disables this or if there’s something on my end that is perhaps breaking this feature?

    Thanks.

It’s not something that will be included in the Shortcake UI, as it’s WordPress core UI specific to inserting an image into a post content. Shortcake uses the media library solely for selecting an attachment.

So you’re saying that because the “attachment display settings” are specific to WordPress itself, that’s why I don’t see them in the media library window via Shortcake? Because Shortcake just uses it to select an attachment and excludes these options?

    More or less, yes.
