• I updated the plug-in from ver. 0.8.2 to ver. 1.0 and after clicking to return to plug-ins page I got a white screen. I could not open my site again, including on other browsers. I was forced to use FTP and delete the plug-in folder and then the site could be opened. There is a serious problem with the plug-in.

Prior to this update, I updated on my test server running WordPress 4.0-alpha. Here the update appeared normal, but after selecting an image to delete the page froze and refreshing the page crashed Firefox. Suspecting a possible issue because of WP 4.0, I tried on WP 3.9.1, with the above results.

Thanks Nicolas for your prompt reply. The continuous use of this plug-in is not urgent like a security or back-up plug in, but it serves a very useful purpose when there are a lot of image uploads. I have almost 300 media uploads on two sites and the generation of various unnecessary sizes by WordPress was a headache before I used this plug-in. I look forward to being able to contact you via e-mail, please advise when it is available.

    Hi Nicolas,
I installed DNUI ver. 1.3 on my test server and it appeared to run with no problems, so I tried it on one of my hosted sites, which has about 180 images. It also seemed to work OK, so I tried on another site with about 80 images plus many SVG image files. Although on the same host and using the same theme, it did not list any images after the scan. I tried changing various option settings with no results. Is the problem caused by the SVG files?

BTW, Every time you issue an update, I am getting e-mails from WordPress for each file updated, e.g. [WordPress Plugin][952422] dnui-delete-not-used-image-wordpress/tags/1.3/ readme.txt: fix readme. It is not normal to receive these notifications, are they sent intentionally?

Hi malae, no is not normal that you get e-mail each time that i make updates, maybe you are subscribe to the change log of my plugin? (i dont know if possible to do that, but is seem that the plugin take you part of development team) If this continue try to post the problem in the main forum to see if someone can help you (i cant do nothing about that, because is not me)

And for the problem with same theme, did you try to deactivate and active the plugin again? I fin this bug in one of wordpress site, because i changed one option but when the plugin is updating, the old option stay in the database and this cause some problem.

I already fix the blog, but i didn’t update the post of the plugin, i waiting to have the last release to remake it

Nicolas, thanks for your reply. Regarding the e-mails I have no subscription. It is not a problem for my computer, but tends to stuff up my mobiles, which use WiFi. I will check further.

After the previous problems I deactivated the plug-in on the second site. Now after activating again it seems to work OK. There are several minor issues and I would like to contact you by e-mail when it is active again.
