DNS records not verifying

    Hello,
    (I’ve done this before successfully on many other domains). I have added the DNS records and they are not verifying. I’ve waited 10-15 minutes, tried again, and done this about three times.

    I will come back tomorrow and see if it works, but wanted to also open a ticket just in case.

    @charmedchicken Your DNS TXT records looks correct. Please make you haven’t added any double quotes at beginning and end of TXT value.

    Hello,
    I confirmed I did not have any double quotes (I copy/paste directly from what was provided.) The issue is still happening, not just here, but also on my paid pro installation on another domain. I’m dismayed you marked this as “resolved” without verifying with me that it indeed was resolved.

    However, I am having a similar issue with my PRO purchase on another website and replied to your ticket there (again confirming the DNS records are correct and sending screen captures).

    For this domain I went ahead and tried another plugin and it worked, so I’m going to leave this as resolved because for this domain it is. I used someone else. But strongly urge you to check out the information provided on the ticket I updated with the pro forum, because I believe something may have changed and it’s a plugin issue. I’ve verified DNS records many times before w/o any issues until yesterday and today.

Meanwhile, I can give you a handy tip – please append wpleauto=dns to WP Encryption page url i.e., /admin.php?page=wp_encryption&wpleauto=dns and load the url. This will override local check and your DNS verification will be directly verified by certificate authority.
