I use Sendinblue with your plugin. All TXT has been configuered correctly, and the domain authenticated as per Sendinblue.

So whenever I send a test email, SPF, DKIM have the success checkmark, but for past 3 days DMARC has “Action Recommended: It doesn’t look like DMARC has been set up on your domain”.

I checked and it’s correct and working on my Sendinblue dashboard. What do I do?

My server is using PHP 7.4.15, and all plugins, core, themes are updated.

    Hi @manonatelier,

did you configure the DMARC for the subdomain or the main domain that is also used in your From Email address?

You can check your DMARC for your main domain used in the From Email address with this tool: https://mxtoolbox.com/dmarc.aspx

Let me know what result you’ll get from the above tool.

    Have a nice day!

P.S.: the DMARC is only a recommended item, you don’t need to configure it if you don’t want to.

It’s for a subdomain. And yes, I checked it with the DMARC tool, and it’s working. Just not showing up in the plugin.

o, and sendinblue has the subdomain for the DMARC, not the main domain. Do I have to create it for the main domain?

    Hi @manonatelier,

our DMARC checks are only performed on the main domain. This is usually how the DMARC is configured (a general DMARC rule for the main domain), but you don’t need to change that, since you are using Sendinblue and they provide a specific DMARC rule for the subdomain, for their own needs.

I would just ignore the DMARC notice in the Email Test section for now and we’ll fix it in the near future.

Thank you for reporting this issue!

    Hi @manonatelier,

we deployed the changes to the Domain Check API. Could you please try to send a test email again and let us know if you still get any warnings for the DMARC?

If all is good, the “Domain Check” section will be missing on the Email Test tab (after sending a test email).

    Have a nice day!
