I recently got an error message from wp mail smtp:

Action Needed: It doesn’t look like the DKIM record required by Sendinblue has been added to your domain.

I am using Brevo and verified the domain is authenticated with Brevo code, DMARC and DKIM records. I have also checked the dns settings on the domain to make sure the keys are correct. I’m only seeing this error in wordpress when sending a test email and I am not receiving any notification emails from my forms.

    Hi @bhandley,

Thanks for reaching out! Please double check your “from email address” under the WP Mail SMTP -> Settings page and make sure that your sending domain is correct. It could be that you may have mistyped your Brevo authenticated domain name.

Let us know how it goes. Thanks!

    Hi @bhandley,

I apologize for the confusion! Please make sure that your “sending domain” (example.com) matches your “from email address” (noreply@example.com).

Also, please try sending a test email (WP Mail SMTP -> Tools) to this online tool and check its report to see if you are encountering any DKIM issues.

    I hope this helps. Thanks!

The from address is the same as my domain and I did the online mail check test and returned the same error:

I just changed the from email from the settings menu and now the tools send a test email says successfully sent but I have not received any email tests and the email from the spam test results isn’t returning anything.

    Hi @bhandley,

Thanks for the additional details! I checked your DKIM record using a public DNS tool and I don’t see any issue with that (see).

Please contact Brevo support with the online report link (see), and they will be able to assist you further.

    I hope this helps. Thanks!
