Dividing Profile page

  • Hey Jeff,

    First of all, thanks for a great plugin. Your work is greatly appreciated!

    I’m looking to spread different sections of the user profile page into different pages (e.g. Contact details on a page called “your-contact-details” / User info on page called “your-basic-info” etc…)

    What’s the best way to go about doing that?

    I also wanted to add that I’d also like to put the different sections of the profile pages in tabs within the same page.

    I was thinking of implementing a tabbed interface for the profiles sections in the next release. The only thing I don’t like is that the profile fields are in the “About Yourself” section. Any thoughts?

    I’m not sure what you mean? What I did was actually remove fields from profile-form.php and re-arrange the order (e.g. Password field in the same section as “Profile”.)

    How about the original question about putting them different fields in different pages, can you advise?

    As to your original question, there is no easy way to split it into different fields. jQuery UI Tabs would work though.
