    Hello,
first off, I really like your theme! The design is neat and thanks to the clear file structure & code I was already able to change a few things without spending a lot of time.
However there’s still one issue with the front page that I don’t know how to approach. I want the navigation bar and the slider to be displayed on white background and the main content+footer in another background colour.

So far, I have been looking into the slider file and tried to maximize its width but that didn’t help. So I guess I have to apply some css to the front page.

Question 1: Is it enough to work with the front-page.php?
Question 2: Could I maybe just put in a some sort of <div> wrapper? I already inserted a footer-wrapper in the footer.php and that worked wonderfully. And where (meaning which file) would I have to insert it into?

Any ideas on the matter would be highly appreciated!

    Hello,
actually I didn’t want free customization, I was just wondering which file I had to tackle. I’m still a WP beginner. :o)

Meanwhile I solved the problem by changing the colour of the .head-container and .page-container in the custom css stylesheet.

Thank you all the same for taking the time to answer!
