    Hi There,

I’ve been made aware of an error across a large number of my sites that is causing clients to be unable to see their “Event List”. After some digging I’ve found out that this issue is related to the Divi Theme, and more specifically a recent update to the theme. I only experience this issue on Divi 4.17 – and after rolling back to 4.16 the issue has gone.

When viewing the admin page I see the following notice being spammed while the issue is being experienced Notice: Trying to get property 'taxonomy' of non-object in /home/councilwebsitede/public_html/wp-content/themes/Divi/includes/builder/frontend-builder/theme-builder/ThemeBuilderRequest.php on line 73

As far as I can tell this error can be reproduced on any site across all three of the latest versions of WordPress core. Simply install this plugin, add some events future or passed (it doesn’t matter). Install and Activate Divi. Navigate through the Admin Panel Events > All Events. You should be met with an empty list; even though the quick filters above indicate entries exist. E.g. All (7) | Published (7) | Bin (1).

    Cheers,
    Greg

  • Hello,
I have the same problem since i upgraded last weekend to Divi 4.17.
With a rollback to 4.16.1 the problem mostly desapeared.

Same problem here. Constellation with DIVI Theme Divi 4.17.0 and Events Manager.

I have another installation without Pagebuilder (Kahuna Theme) and everything is okay.

But on all(!) DIVI + Event Manager Websites I cannot see any events in the backend.

But this should be fixed soon, because all other events (draft) are not reachable anymore. Workaround is to look on frontside and press the edit button to find any public events.

Thanks to the author Marcus of the plugin. I hope you can fix it. Otherwise let me know and I can open a ticket at DIVI support. Please give me description what DIVI should change, if so.

For those that are following this issue; the Divi patch notes from yesterday contain a really positive change!

    version 4.17.1 ( updated 04-14-2022 )
    - Fixed conflict with Events Manager plugin.

From my own testing this has resolved the error as fixed across all our sites.

    Hope this helps some people!

For me, the problem is solved ! Thank you very much.
