Divi Theme – automatically update problem

    Hello,

    this is a really useful plugin. One thing we miss, is the possibility to automatically update divi theme from Elegantthemes.

    I understand, that you can not support every theme or plugin. As the automatically update is very important for us, I would like to ask you if we could support this implementation in any way.

    We would pay for the implementation.

    Thanks, we’ll look into this. Not sure at this point if we can find a fix, but I’ll keep you posted.

    @kunzemarketing we found a fix and it should be in our next release.

    Unfortunately, the problem with the current version is not solved yet. If I manually trigger the update under “Advanced > Force automatic update” – Divi will be updated.

    But the update does not work automatically. Parallel to Easy Update Manager we use the premium version of Updraft Plus.

    Our Update Setup:
    – regular cron job /wp-cron.php
    – execute easy update manager
    – backup website with Updraft Plus
    – update of the website

    Any help?

    @kunzemarketing hmm, that’s problematic. Let me run a few more tests using Divi and see if we can get that sucker updated.

    @kunzemarketing I believe I found a fix. It just needs more testing before we’re sure it works.

    @kunzemarketing in my testing, Divi updated automatically without my code changes. Basically EUM didn’t need to do anything. What version of Divi are you on?

    Hi Ronald,

    we are using Divi Theme 4.05 in combination with a child theme for Divi.

    Easy Update Manager does not update Divi unless “Force automatic updates is used”.

    Is there a webhook I can use to trigger “Force automatic updates”?

    Is there any setting to activate the log files? I can not find anything – there are no logs available.
