Divi – No images showing in Media folder since update

  • I use Enhanced Media Library on a few sites. I had a huge panic when I did the usual updates to:
    Wordpress 5.5.3
    Divi 4.6.6
    Divi Overlays 2.9.0.3
    all images in the Media Library disappeared.
    They all reappeared when I deactivated the plug-in, but this is bad news for a few sites that have big libraries.
    DO you plan on checking with Divi Theme?

    I wanted to let everyone know that all pictures came back after I went into EML plug-in settings > taxonomies and resaved the settings without changing anything. This was suggested in a thread 4 years ago

    Yes, I am using

    EML 2.8.1
    Wordpress 5.5.3
    Divi 4.7.0
    PHP 7.4
    plus Cerber Security Plugin and All in One SEO

    Hi Arlene,

    Thank you! The problem happened when you updated WordPress and Divi, but not EML? Its version was 2.8.1 already for some time at that point, correct? Or you updated all together WP, Divi, and EML? I am asking to try to reproduce the issue. Thank you for helping.

    Thanks Nadia,

    I usually update

    Divi
    then WordPress
    then plugins

    so that’s the way I would have done it the other day.
