The plugin works very satisfactorily for me in various WordPress environments. However, I have now noticed a strange problem with a new site.
Whenever there are different texts for tablet or phone views, these texts, together with the corresponding embedded links, are apparently interpreted incorrectly. In the BLC link overview, links are displayed that do not exist at all, and are semantically complete nonsense.
I noticed this because a data backup plugin (executed as a cronjob via wp) crashes with a fatal error, most probably due to this problem. The reported error refers to legacy/includes/links.php (lines 139-140) and indicates a memory violation. This is probably a completely different problem, but I would like to get rid of these strange non-existent links first. I had to temporarily delete your plugin in order to keep the backup procedure working.
I’d be happy to provide further support outside of this forum – otherwise I’m afraid this will just get too detailed.

    Hello @bsoftde

I hope you are doing well today and sorry to hear you have issues with the Broken Link Checker plugin.

What you described is more like a plugin conflict related to your backup plugin but I’m not sure about the memory issue, are you getting any memory exhaust errors related to the broken link checker?

If so, we may need to take a look at those logs to find more information.

Please remember to share the logs using this email. Upload the file to a file-sharing service such as GDrive or Dropbox. Additionally, we may need a copy of your backup plugin to conduct further tests on our end. Please include all the information you have gathered so far

Yes, feel free to do so. As I wrote, I had to deinstall the plugin in order to have the site working ok. I will try and reproduce the problem on a different (test) site, but I will need some time to get back to you.

    Thank you for your patience.
