Divi – mobile visual builder not working

    A number of odd things suddenly. Mobile checkout not loading in the visual builder. A top menu bar appeared with footer info. Cannot figure this out. Have disabled, enabled, cleared caches, and restored. Have tried the 2021 theme to see if there was anything there and it looks fine, so I guess that means it’s a Divi problem?
    Can I deactivate Divi and start again, or will that be bad?

    I would advise you to first make a backup of your site, in case something does not go according to plan during this and you need to restore later.

    You said that a number of odd things occurred suddenly. Would you happen to remember any recent updates you made that could help explain why this is happening?

    Since the feature works fine when using a default WordPress theme, it could be that a recent Divi update is conflicting with your setup. I would also advise you to check their changelogs, to see if there’s any information there that might indicate a conflict.

    Also, does Divi have any way for you to downgrade to a previous version? I’m not saying that you should have to use a previous version permanently, but it would be good to try as a test, so we know if that’s related to the issue.

    Finally, how are you adding the catalog to your Divi page? Are you using the shortcode?

    Backup backed up. Rolled back to the previous Divi (so yes, downgraded) and there are still issues. Deactivated everything and then one by one checked, and I am missing something but simply can’t see it. There are about 5 issues. It’s hard to be a detective with so little knowledge – I would like to roll back even further but I can’t figure that out due to lack of experience.
    I don’t know how to answer your last question:
    I don’t know shortcode.

    Thank you for providing that information.

    What I meant by “are you using the shortcode” is how are you displaying the catalog on your website?

    Are you using the Gutenberg block or using a shortcode like so:

    [product-catalog id='1' starting_layout='Detail']
