Divi issue with all 6.x version

    Hello,

    I’m having a huge issue after upgrading to version 6.0.11. I’m using all the latest version:

    • Divi Theme 4.20.4
    • The Events Calendar 6.0.11
    • WordPress 6.2
    • PHP 7.4 

    In Divi, I’m using Theme Builder and Template for all events page. When I was using The Events Calendar version 5.x, the Templates were used and the proper content was rendered for every page.

    Since upgrading to 6.x (I’ve tried almost all 6.x versions), it’s impossible to render Event Page content in Divi. When I switched to the Twenty Twenty Three theme, the correct content was shown.

    Thanks for reaching out, and my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience. Let me help you with this one.

    I tried replicating the issue on my end, but it’s working as expected.

    Could you try creating a fresh installation of WP with Divi and The Events Calendar, and see if the issue persists? If so, please provide steps on how we could replicate the issue on our end.

    Hello, thank you for reply. It’s ok on fresh installation (because there is no necessary to migrate any data etc.).

    There is problem with old and new structure of design of your calendar (v1 -> v2).

    As you can see here – https://ctrlv.tv/R65K – I found, that also on the version 5.16.4 problem occurred, when I update to the new design only.

    The pattern is that the generated content is always the oldest event.

    @d0153 After several hours of debugging, I found what was causing the problem. I was using the Blank Template in version 5.x.x. – TCE -> Display -> Basic Template Settings

    There has been no issue with the combination of Divi and Divi Builder. But after upgrading to TCE 6.x.x, there is a need to switch to Default Events Template – see https://prnt.sc/LIf-HewM1aRv

    After that, the proper content is shown on proper pages.
