    Hello,

The site I’m working on uses a divi theme. I have several forminator forms, but none work when adding the form’s shortcode to the pages. I’ve tried using the Divi text and code modules. No luck. I’ve also tried placing the shortcode on several other pages.

On the link provided, the form is suppose to be under the “place order” heading. As you can see, there is nothing being displayed.

When I inspect the code, I’m seeing the form tag id=forminator-module-8839 several times but no fields in between the form tags.

    Please help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @varoscope

    I hope you’re well today~!

Assuming that the form is already published such issues would usually be related to either caching and/or asset optimization settings (which Divi has plenty of).

For the start, please go to edit the form in question and in its “Behavior” settings try following options:

    1. enable “Prevent page caching on form pages”
    2. and if that alone doesn’t help, try changing “Load form using AJAX” switch to opposite to what it is set now (disable if enabled; enable if disabled)

Make sure to clear all caches and if you have Divi set to generate CSS to files – force it to regenerate it too.

If that doesn’t help either, try (for test) disabling following options one-by-one in “Divi -> General -> Performance” settings:

    – Defer Additional Third Party Scripts
    – Defer jQuery and jQuery Migrate
    – Dynamic Module Framework

Let us know, please, if any of that makes the form work for you.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hello,

Thank you for the quick response. So, I got the form displaying now (disabling Load form using AJAX did the trick), but the paypal checkout options at the bottom disappear. I tried the rest of what you mentioned regarding the divi settings, but the paypal options still disappear.

    Any way to fix?

    Hi @varoscope,

I hope you are doing well today!

I suggest to disable all performance options of Divi first and try again. If this does not help then it is probably due to a plugin & theme or custom code conflicting on site.

Please make sure you have recent backups and perform plugin & theme conflict test on your dev/staging site if possible.
To learn more about a conflict test, please see this guide below:
    https://wpmudev.com/docs/getting-started/getting-support/#conflict-test

Check out this handy flowchart of the troubleshooting process detailed above.

If this does not help either, please share an export of the form with us, so that we can check further.

You can find more info on how to export the form here : https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

After exporting, please share the code using a services such as https://pastebin.com or https://justpaste.it/ which is free to use.

Please always make sure to use such service to share the code and don’t post the code here directly as it will most likely be unusable.

    Kind regards,
    Zafer

    Hi guys,

I tried disabling all performance divi settings, no luck.

I tried the conflict test (disabling pulgins), no luck.

    Here’s the form: https://justpaste.it/3p5iw

Please let me know if you find a fix. Thanks in advance.

    Hi @varoscope,

Thanks for sharing the form export, I tested in my system but I’m not able to replicate the issues as noticed in your website.

I’m afraid, the issue still looks more related a conflict, as the PayPal field is getting removed in your site after the initial page load.

Just to be sure, could you please check how it behaves if you add the form in a default WP editor compared to the Divi Editor?

Also, could you please check how it behaves once you switch to a default WP theme like Twenty TwentyFour theme etc?

I tried the conflict test (disabling pulgins), no luck.

Were there any Divi add-on plugins enabled, while the above test performed?

Please do let us know how that goes. Looking forward to your response.

    Kind Regards,

    Nithin
