• Hello,

My client site https://www.maddymoon.com has been giving 404 errors for the past couple of weeks off and on. We contacted the host and here is what they sent us:

Here are the results of the tests that we did:

All plugins enabled with Custom theme – 42MB Memory per PHP instance with a lot of calls to admin-ajax.php (1 every 10 seconds)
All plugins disabled with Custom theme – 30MB Memory per PHP instance, little to no admin-ajax.php calls per minute
All plugins disabled with Genesis theme – 7MB Memory Per instance, little to no admin-ajax.php calls per minute
All plugins enabled with Genesis theme – 19MB Memory Per instance, little to no admin-ajax.php calls per minute
All plugins re-enabled with Custom Theme re-enabled – 42MB Memory per PHP instance, ajax calls back (but it is not as frequent as before)

It looks like it is your theme custom theme/Divi that is consuming a lot of memory per instance, including the calls to admin-ajax.php.

It will be best to have the theme support to look into the issue.

I ran the site on GTMetrix but can’t find the admin-ajax issue, maybe I am looking in the wrong spot? Any ideas on how I can fix this? The site isn’t even loading for me right now. I have to deactivate the plugins just so there is enough memory to load the site.

    Thanks in advance
