Is there any chance W3TC will become more DIVI compatible. This is the only cache plugin I found that has to be turned off when adding new posts/pages in a DIVI installation.

    Hello @davidfonsbo

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to assist you with this.

I am not quite sure what the exact problem is, but I can assure you that the W3TC is compatible with Divi and vice versa.
Please share more information about the problem you are experiencing and the steps to reproduce the problem.

One small note, if you are using Minify option in W3 Total Cache, make sure to disable minify for logged-in users in Performance>Minify, to avoid breaking the builder. Make sure to save all settings and purge the cache.

    Thanks!

I have Minify totally turned off but when ever I write a new article or edit another DIVI won’t start until W3TC has been turned off. Haven’t seen this with other cache plugs.

    Hello @davidfonsbo

    Thank you for your feedback.
Again I am unable to replicate this as I am able to write a new article or edit another Divi works like a charm.

Can you please share your website URL and let me know which settings are enabled in Performance>General settings?

In some cases, enabling DB cache or Page Cache, or Minify for logged-in users can cause problems and this is why those settings are disabled for logged-in users by default.

Please share the information so we can determine which option that you may have enabled is causing this.

    Thanks!

Hi @vmarko And Thank You for your message!

It is actually a huge bunch of domains all experiencing DIVI loading for ever when W3TC is enabled. Maybe 30 sites but they also pretty much have the same plugins in general. So I could try searching for a conflicting plugin also.

This is a just test site but also has the problem: https://trinitysisters.net

Minify is Disabled. The rest is Enabled.

I have noticed if all functions are disabled the problem isn’t there. I will try disabling them one by one to morrow and come back to you.

I have been looking for somewhere to Disable for logged in users but never found anything. Is there a switch somewhere for that?

    Hello @davidfonsbo

Thanks for the feedback and please let me know which module may be causing the issue when you disable them one by one.

Disabling any caching for logged in users in a checkbox within the module settings, so for example, in Performance>Page Cache, you have the checkbox “Don’t cache pages for logged-in users”

    Thanks!

It is the CDN module that is the show stopper.

BUT now Editing of Posts and Pages work. WP as wells as DIVI was updated last week.

The thing that remains is editing form DIVI/Themebuilder. DIVI hangs when editing modules in the theme builder. But turning CDN off makes it work.

    Hello @davidfonsbo

    Thank you for your feedback.

You can disable the CDN for logged in users and for specific user roles in Performance>CDN>Advanced> Disable?CDN?for the following roles

    I hope this helps!

Thanks – that seems to work!
