    Hi There,

We have a custom post-type plugin installed and We are using Divi builder.

Divi builder is working completely fine on normal pages and not loading for headers and footers.

If I uninstall this custom post type plugin, Divi builder is loading fine.

Unfortunately, I have created many post types using this plugin and cant really deactivate it. any ideas why its causing that issue?

    Thanks for your help

Not really any ideas on why at the moment.

Are you saying that regardless of what type of content you’re editing, with CPTUI enabled, Divi just flat out doesn’t work? blank screen perhaps or just its own components not loaded?

What content types do you have registered? Specifically just the post type/taxonomy slugs, not worried quite so much about other parts just yet.

    Hi There,

DIVI Theme builder is not working when this plugin is activated, as soon as I deactivate the plugin, the builder is working completely fine.

Please see the following recording to see what the issue is about

Thank you for looking into this.

What content types do you have registered? Specifically just the post type/taxonomy slugs, not worried quite so much about other parts just yet. I’m curious if slugs are potentially somehow causing internal conflicts for Divi and loading of its UI.

May just be easier to visit Tools > Debug Info and paste me the content there. That’d provide enough for me to review CPTUI settings.

    Hi @tw2113,
Thank you for looking into this.

Divi support found the issue, We have set a custom permalink structure and there is another page with same URL slug.

Thats why it wasn’t working, That slug was created by custom post type. that’s why it was clashing.

We have changed the slug and it all loads correctly.

Thank you so much for helping us out.

I could definitely see that being a source, and a considerably hard one to track down too. Glad everyone was able to help figure this one out, especially the Divi support staff.

Let us know if you need anything else.

    Hi @tw2113,

We have created multiple custom post types with your plugin and some posts Archive pages working fine without any issues.

But some posts archive pages return 404 page and says the requested page could not be found.

I checked the settings of nonworking post types with working post types, they are all same and still not working.

Any idea, I have flushed the permalinks multiple times and no use.

Any idea on what could be the reason for this?

by the way, we have a custom permalink structure setup

    https://prnt.sc/1vn777q

looks like that’s what cauing the issue, if we change the permalink structure to sample-post, archive pages working fine.

But we need that custom permalink structure with experience in slug for posts.

Not sure what to suggest at this point if the issue is only coming up from when you’re adding custom permalink structures. Has me curious what the query parameters are looking like at that time, and what the final MySQL request is being for the given query. Not something I can identify from here.
