    Hi to all,
I’m using the divi theme for my website. Everything is fast and stable. But when I edit a page with the visual builder and then save that page, this operation will take around 8/10 seconds. If I disable the YOAST plugin it will save the page instantly around 1 second. I know that is difficoult to make all things works together, but maybe is there something that I can disable in YOAST to improve this speed. I’m attaching 2 pics from my chrome inspector
    WITH YOAST ENABLED

    WITH YOAST DISABLED

    many thanks

We do know Yoast taps into the WordPress API to make calls. On some server configurations this may result in unexpected behavior. If you were to reactivate the Yoast SEO plugin (if you deactivated it) and then go to SEO->General->Features can you then confirm that the Text Link Counter is disabled? If you do that does the issue resolve? We also have a guide on disabling this here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/enable-disable-link-count/

thank you @devnihil for your reply, unfortunately I have already tried to disable everything except from seo analysys in that tab, without any improvement, save a page still needs around 10 seconds with divi and yoast enabled.

Can you please also disable the SEO analysis from Yoast SEO to check whether this improves anything? If not, we recommend you to please perform a conflict check by following the guide here.

If the issue remains after performing the full conflict check, would it be possible for you to install the 3rd party Query Monitor plugin and check what query takes so long when editing pages content so that we can investigate this issue further.

thank @mazedulislamkhan for your reply I disabled everything in yoast settings with no results(maybe just a little) I performed the conflict checks with no errors. I don’t have problems to install query monitor, but honestly I’m not so good with this tool, so I don’t know what exactly to check, maybe you can point me to the right direction. As I said I can reproduce this issue on different sites with different hosting, even with the one hosted on my own ha cluster with a lot of resources. I have talked with the divi support and they can reproduce the issue on their side too, but this happens only on posts with some content, if the post is blank or have a very small content it saves fast.

Unfortunately, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.
