Divi and Aspose.Words Exporter

Using the DIVI-Theme unfortunately all shortcodes of the blogposts get exported as well. I have installed the plugin version 5.5.2 and have not checked the “Enable shortcodes” box.

Please check the enable shortcodes option to pre-process the shortcodes. It will resolve the issue.

Another issue I have is, that the blogposts, which are created by copying an old post, which then gets exported as well.

Do you mean that the not wanted posts are exported? You may uncheck the posts that you do not want to export. Please elaborate if there is a difference between my understanding and your requirement.

I now checked the enable shortcodes option but the shortcodes still get exported.

When I mark the post, I want to export, there a double entries in the word-doc and I don’t know why:

I’m afraid shortcodes are being pre-processed fine at our end. Please share the list of all activated plugins you are using at your site. We will try to replicate the issue and fix it.

Can you please tell me if there is a solution in sight? This is urgent. I’m willing to pay for developement, but I have to know if there is a chance. Otherwise I have to find something else.

I’m afraid, currently we do not have a fix for this. However, our team is working on it and we’ll try our best to find a fix for this issue by the end of this week.

Just wanted to share an update.

After the initial investigation, we found that Divi’s shortcodes are visible to WordPress core only when the page is rendered through the Divi theme. Due to this design, the shortcodes are not visible to any other WordPress plugin, through WordPress Plugin API. So in the current scenario, it seems it is not possible to export a page made with Divi page builder.

However, we are still looking to find any possibility to export theme-defined shortcodes in our plugin.`
