• Hi
Has anyone used airpress with elegant themes DIVI template?
Using shortcodes in ‘normal pages’ works just fine but within divi components and layouts it get’s nearly impossible.

One of the most intuitive ways would be a ACF integrtion where I could simply populate ACF fields with airpress shortcodes and then use those as dynamic field content. problem is that ACF fields don’t populate properly when I display such a page. (while including some of the shortcodes directly within text and code fields works relatively well in titles and for images it breaks)

Has anyone implemented airpress with ACF or directly with DIVI? I would go as far as to pay somebody to get this working ??

    Best
    Marc

I’ve been using AirTables with w/ a divi implementation for quite some time. I didn’t create shortcodes, but rather just wrote templates in my child theme using divi pre-existing classes/html elements and populated them w/ AT data. Use the PHP examples provided on the plugins main page here on www.remarpro.com as a guide. It’s fairly simple, though if you want to use them in the Divi builder in admin via custom shortcodes, you’ll need to take it a step further and construct those as well.

    thanks.
I started going in that direction now. Would have been nice if there were some kind of ACFish or divi extension to use airtable for some of the dynamic content without getting my hands php dirty but then again it might be a hassle to get it right on the frontend with dynamic content alone.
