div and p behavior in 2.3.2

  • I have seen posts relating to <div> being changed to <p> after saving/publishing in other releases, but not 2.3.2.

    Does anyone have a solution to this very annoying problem?

    I’m not a programmer so don’t string me up if it’s wrong but in wp-includes/js/tinymce/tiny_mce_config.php I commented out line 25 and added a new one (below) at line 26:

    $valid_elements = 'p[*],-div[*],-&nbsp;[*],-strong/-b[*],-em/-i[*],-font[*],-ul[*],-ol[*],-li[*],*[*]';

    I think that’s all I did and it seems to have worked for me in WP 2.3.3 in Pages.

    I have removed this ,-&nbsp;[*] now.
