I am creating a website using the Kadence theme and cannot figure out how to have the Ticker above the header. Any thoughts?

You can use the Global Ditty Rendering method described here: https://www.metaphorcreations.com/article/ditty/general/global-ditty-rendering/

It allows you to insert a Ditty anywhere on your site, based on an element selector. Check out the video and you should get a pretty good idea how to set it up. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you that helped greatly. One other question, the “default” templates did not install when I added this plugin to a new website. Is there a place to download the templates?

    Great, good to hear!

The current version of Ditty doesn’t install default templates anymore (Layouts or Displays). Each of the item types do have their own “default” layout, but they get applied automatically as custom layouts. These have been simplified a bit from the my initial default layouts that were installed as templates. You can reset an item’s layout to it’s default by opening the Layout screen, clicking Customize, and then Reset to Default Layout in the top right of the next screen.

If you have existing templates from another site that you want to re-use, you can export them and import into the new site. Let me know if this helps or if you still have questions.
