Distorted mobile layout, differs from “mobile preview”

Hello!
I apologize if I’ve listed this in the incorrect forum, as I do not visit forums too often, and am not too technically savvy with the editing of wordpress sites just yet. Using GutenWP, I’ve set up my page to display beautifully on desktop, and I love the scrolling look that the “fixed” background setting offers, under row settings. However, this fixed effect of the background image does not apply to mobile or tablet mediums, and the resolution of the background images is absolutely destroyed. This makes the entire look of the site tragic on mobile. I’m not certain how CSS might be used to fix this, but I’m open to absolutely any suggestion.
