Displays WP role, NOT UM role in profile and directory

    With the 2.0 update, all of our Account Types are displaying as the WordPress role (subscriber, etc.) rather than the UM role (member, etc.) In profile and directory forms, it only has the field for ROLE. How can I exclude the WordPress Role and display correct UM role?

    I am understanding you are getting away from UM roles. Can I concert a UM role to a WP role? Otherwise how do I keep all the custom role names? If I’ve allowed only “Members” and “Counselors Network” to view member pages, won’t that all be affected if I lose the custom role name??

    Hi @ockographics,

    Since we are using native WordPress roles you don’t need to connect roles, you can create a new user role with a custom mane and add different WP capabilities to it.
