Displays Result Posts Display Before Header

When I do a search that has not been done before the full post results of that search is displayed at the top of the page. Looking at the source is is at the VERY beginning of the page, before “<!DOCTYPE html>”. It is as though it runs the WP loop before it calls the header functions. This problem goes away when I search the same term a second time. I am using the default Twenty Eleven theme.
