• I’ve tried to install WordPress in my root, here. After running the script, I only see the blog broken down with “<a href=” on it. Any ideas on how to fix this?

  • Check if you have uploaded every file,

And check your LOCAL Index.php page so you can see if some string is open

    Cheerz!,

Thx cemiotika, I re-uploaded every file but still no improvement. Even tried deleting and setting up new database; still no luck. The Index.php is just exactly the way I downloaded here, didn’t change anything to that. Any other ideas?

There seems to be a problem with your first post. Did you start to create one? Viewing the source shows the start of the link to the first post but nothing else. What do you see when you go to the administration page “manage posts” tab?

Thx for thnking with me on this. As for first post, I haven’t even been able to log in yet, because my installating script only ran until step 2.. I didn’t get to the step where I’m supposed to get my password and I don’t understand why, as I’ve been FTPing all files over a few times to be sure I have all of them…

your mysql tables didnt get all filled.. you need to reinstall those.

you can either 1. use another prefix when you do the install so that a new tables are made.

    2. go in with phpmyadmin, and delete the partial tables that are already there, and start over without changing the prefix in wp-config.php

    either way…
