Displays all post content in homepage instead of the excerpts

Most themes show full post content on the blog page, some have admin setting to use excerpts instead.
You’ll proabably have to change the_content to the_excerpt in your template files. It’s often in loop.php, depending on your theme.

you will need to change a code in index.php file loop look for this line
<?php the_content(); ?>
change to
<?php the_excerpt(); ?>

@govpatel, Please in what specific location should i look for it; Is it in the main index template(index.php) or loop.php?

All depends on how your theme template is designed if you can paste index.php code in https://wordpress.pastebin.com and paste url here so we can see the code.

Your loop is in loop-homepage.php

Is it the same as loop-page.php as this is the only close match.

I do not think is same there must be loop-homepage.php file as that is waht called for in code.

the code looks like it’s looking for “loop.php” which is probably where the homepage excerpt code is.
